Our exclusive partner in Spain, Difusiona worked with GCA Architecture to design and supply the lighting for Nestle’s Headquarters in Barcelona.
The LD170 high powered wall light was selected for the exterior main walkway lighting. Offering a very diffused beam of light focused down onto the lit surface by an internal tilt of 20°, it enabled a very low glare illumination of the walkway. The wide beam allowed for a wider spacing between luminaires and therefore fewer points of install. The marine grade materials used in the manufacture of the products made it ideal for the coastal location.
LD64 miniature in-ground indicator lights were used to illuminate the walkway where the wall lights could not be installed. Producing a 120° wash of light across the path, the LD64s not only provide good output but looked amazing in the machine finish stainless steel 316.
